Irises

I thought I had posted this plant/flower from our garden more than once and certainly in full flower, but apparently not. Here is the only previous post — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-05-19 — and the flowers are just starting to open.

As written on the other post, I think this is Iris virginica, but I will check with my plant systematics expert! Nope: “Iris sibirica.”
