Under the hood (upside down)

I worked on boat repairs a bit today. Put the shell back on its rack and wondered how a photo looking in might turn out. Kind of cool, I think. I thought about rotating it so that the keel would be on the bottom, but Clare suggested I leave it as-is.

As you can see, none of the wood is very thick or "stout." Most of the pieces you see here are the size of screen moldings or those wood inserts for shade grips. I guess this is how a 26½ foot long craft weighs only 30 pounds!
