Dropped one-too many times, I guess

This poor camera. I dropped it one last time before Christmas and one of the side covers came off. I had to “re-educate” the metal strap-bracket so the plastic piece could go back in place, choose a glue that wouldn't run everywhere, then figure out how I was going to clamp it. Here it is still clamped and taking a photo of itself in a mirror…

Isn't it strange how retirement days are just as busy with things to do? I dropped my P&S on New Year's Eve, and we had to replace it. Charlie is quite handy too, but it was hopeless. I miss it like an old friend, yet my new camera and I are becoming fast friends now too.

I hope it all sticks together the way you want. Good luck
