Horrible shot, but butterfly #48

Giant butterfly on bleachers?
Nah. Just a normal-sized butterfly that was taunting me. The only place it would stop was on a second-story shutter, hence the low-quality shot. But it's the first Hackberry Emperor I've ever seen-to-photograph, so it has to be today's post even though I have better images (at least one of which is a future-filler for sure), and it gets tagged for seeing all species I've posted, http://365project.org/tags/tm-butterfly-species

Confirmed at BAMONA as “Asterocampa celtis” or “Hackberry Emperor”; http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/sighting_details/1099767

[Not to be macabre, but my mom would have been 80 today, though she didn't even make it to 55.]

I don't think it's a horrible shot ... I like the composition and lines a lot!

I think you did well considering the distance! Never heard of this type!
