How many people does it take to walk a dog?

Or how many humans can a dog walk?

We returned from our trip yesterday and went to Raymond & Jeanne's for dinner. Their/Our Lithuanian friend — Vytis, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-04-15 — was in-country for a short visit. U.S. Immigration contacted him a couple weeks ago and assigned him an appointment time in St. Louis to renew his visa. So he flew over a day or so ago, has his appointment on Monday and takes Amtrak to Chicago to fly back to Lithuania on Tuesday. A whirlwind visit, to be sure, but if he didn't take Monday's appointment in St. Louis, he would have to jump through all sorts of different hoops to renew his visa.

Love the sunlight here! It was interesting reading about these people. The only Lithuanian-Americans I've ever known of are the tragic family in Upton Sinclaire's "The Jungle."
