My mom, 1953 [Filler]

This is a random slide I pulled from a tray to see what might be in the tray. Somebody thoughtfully labelled with the date and the occasion. Would she have been going to the dance with my dad? I will have to check with my brother to see if he knows when they met. I suspect Dad was in the picture by March, 1953…

Assessment from my brother, our family genealogist: “[M]y guess would be not Dad... but we don’t have a good time line on all that.” Indeed, it’s always been a little fuzzy or vague exactly when they met. With both of them gone and precious few of their contemporaries still living, a mystery it shall remain.
