It’s becoming a ritual

A good one, though — just to clarify! When we visit Clare’s mom and we’re otherwise not going to see her oldest brother, we usually contact them and see if we can meet for lunch in between. It’s a 20+ minute drive for Steve & Linda, and 40– minute drive for us from Mom’s. Obviously, our server took this, but this was a second-take; she thought to remove the pepper grinder, bread basket, and olive oil bottle from the center of the table.
