@granagringa Hi Granagringa - I've found them to be rather absorbing. Never knowing what is going to happen is pretty enticing. And can I just say - I would like to thank you once again for going to the bother of giving me all that advice about using my camera. If you hadn't done that it would still just be all auto!! These would have been totally impossible! A month of these sounds like quite fun to me. But, do you real photographers find them irritating because you don't have as much control?
@robz You are more than welcome...and I'm intrigued..have no idea how you are setting up to do this on your camera and what you are setting it at. And as far as real photographers go? Who knows..they are on Clemons page though! That can give the rest of us hope!
@granagringa I have been using ISO 80, Exp bias +1, WB cloudy and then only trying it on rather shady subjects. The camera was then using a shutter speed of between about 1/30 sec and 1/5 sec. They did turn out a little bright so I had to adjust the exp in the editing program, but this seemed to be the only way to get the slow shutter speed. It was actually good having a small camera - easy to swoop around!! I haven't had a look at the Clemons page for a while - there did seem to be a lot of flowers. I couldn't figure out if some of them were original shots with just a little camera nudge or if they had been processed to get the effects shown.
@stephanies Thank you so much for choosing this photo as a finalist. There were so many wonderful entries - it is very encouraging and exciting. I learnt a huge amount form this project and thoroughly enjoyed the ICM experiment. Many thanks Cheers Rob Z
