Landscape - Amiens, Queensland. by robz

Landscape - Amiens, Queensland.

Amiens was designated as a soldier resettlement area after WW1. Returned soldiers were each allocated a 50 acre allotment to clear and farm.It was back breaking work to achieve what was really only a very basic lifestyle. The general landscape is, however, quite beautiful with granite boulders and domes and high altitude vegetation. This small section of Amiens is located on our property which is one of the original allotments.
Great effect in this ICM...you are really enjoying these, I see. I haven't seen them done so much on wider landscapes...I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

@granagringa Haha - it took about 64 attempts to catch this one! The tricky bit seems to be getting the main item of interest in the middle. Inspiration is really just stubbornness. They are fun though.
