Fly trap. by robz

Fly trap.

Put honeyed water in the bottom - hang up if possible, flies can't resist, flies enter and eventually drown at the bottom. So the theory goes?
I like the jaunty angle you've taken this at. Hopefully the flies will like it too.

I've photographed mine and hesitated to post it!! Off to snap it now- full of deceased wasps and flies!!!!

@lyndemc Thanks Denise - an advantage of the little camera is that it's easy to move around to strange angles. Good fun. Have never had much luck with the fly catcher. Cheers Rob Z

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - they must have been world wide contraptions. I'm very impressed that your's has actually caught critters.Mine's been pretty useless..

@robz I satfof 1/2 hour yesterday waiti g to see if somthi would fly in itand nothing!!! 2 hours later a couple hadsneaked into it!!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Isn't that always the way? At least now I know that they do work! Do you have yours hanging up or standing on a surface?
