Man, dog and place...

Not really quite like Andric Ljubodrag's "place and people" series,but sitting on the rock surrounded by bush does feel like that. The little wattle flowers at the front are an endangered species - quite special.

how lovely to just sit and contemplate although the dog looks like it wants to get moving again, Wattle is my favourite native flower. We have it out everywhere at the moment

@cruiser You're quite correct Chris - the dog always wants to see if she can find pigs!! And our wattles are just unbelievable at the moment - must be the warm winter. Cheers

I like how the yellow frames the distant subject...and such a sense of distance and smallness here. I'll now have to check out this artist as I hadn't done that this month. :)

@granagringa Sorry Madeline - I read your other comment re the Artist Challenge before I read this one. This is not really a very good example of his idea- too much "stuff" in the photo - his seem to be very sparse- and in some you have to search for the person. I was trying to give an impression of the size of "The Rock" and have a photographic record of the little wattle flowers - it is quite a special one.
