This great mural was painted during the last "Apple and Grape" festival in 2015. It is an excellent likeness of one of the original Italian settlers in our district. The window is a bit unfortunate!
@stefneyhart It's very large - a whole side of a building. It was done in just a couple of days - really talented visiting artists. Thanks for having a look - if you're ever over this way I'd be more than happy to show you. :)
@lovingandsharing Hi Kay - I'm afraid I don't know his name but he was one of the original Italians. It was actually quite tricky to photo because it is very large - the whole of a wall. I'm glad you liked it. Cheers.
Very good PoV for this capture...The inclusion and the tilt of the screen, or whatever it is, really gives a good sense of what and place. I like it a lot. Not always easy to make a mural this interesting without just being a photo of it.
@granagringa It was just a gut feeling again - and the fact that it is huge - the black at the top is actually the sky. Difficult to fit in without a tilt. I've never worried too much about tilting the camera or not - it just seems to happen when I look at the image on the little screen. Your analysis of these is so helpful - makes me think about what I'm doing. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at all of these!!
