Brisbane by night - in B&W

This is the same image in B&W - just investigating the change in overall effect when colour is removed. Contrast becomes more important.... Some individual items become more prominent... Overall image is more cohesive without the dominant reds..... Effect of the longer exposure seems more obvious... All very interesting!
Yes! Love the b&w!! It works as high contrast and the smooth water is lovely. You could try reducing highlights a bit in post processing.

@taffy Oh Thanks Taffy for looking at it right now!! - I was just checking them out side by side - it's very blurry (no tripod! etc) and I'll play with the exposure in Pic Monkey right now. Thanks for the suggestion. I fear this will never be a strong point for my camera :)

@taffy I think I did too much!! So tricky!! The highlights match better - but it seems to have magnified the blur - very annoying! Just have another go!! Cheers

@granagringa Thanks Madeline - I was a bit disappointed at the blurry edges - never having a tripod in my pocket!! probably means they will all look like this :)
