Quite a different Eucalypt.

This is one of my favourite gum trees. These silvery, dollar-shaped leaves stand out so much in the forest. Unfortunately, as the tree grows the leaves change shape - they eventually end up the shape and colour of a typical eucalypt.

They are very pretty, the silver colour is lovely. Such a shame they have to grow up!
