It was really nice to win the last WWYD Challenge - until I had to try to choose the starting image for the next Challenge! It's quite difficult! I thought maybe this SOOC image may offer some possibilities...
Great image. I should have with this. I know how you feel about finding an image. I thought it would be easy but it is difficult t o find something different but suitable
@sarahlth Thanks so much for your reply Sarah - It's so good to know that you can see something that you might like to try. Will look forward to seeing your end result!! Cheers Rob.
@fr1da Hi Frida - thanks for your nice comment on the sunset. My camera has a "posterize" setting which I had never played with. It produced this image. :)
Great choice Rob, I shall get my thinking cap on. Congrats for the win, a most excellent entry, although I do like @30pics4jackiesdiamond reasoning! I also hate choosing the finalists, another downside of winning :)
@suzanne234 Thanks Suzanne - it's good to hear that you think it will work! Thanks for the congrats too - and I agree totally with you - it's so hard choosing finalists. I thought your idea of choosing one from each entrant was a great concept - people put so much thought and effort into entering that it's nice to showcase something from each person. I'll look forward to seeing what you create - love your imagination! Cheers Rob
@granagringa LOL - Luddite indeed!! This was SOOC using the "posterize" setting on my camera. First real try with it! I think it might be handy to remember. :)
@granagringa Hi again Granagringa - I just realized that "Luddite indeed!" could be interpreted either way. I do hope you realized I was scoffing at the idea!! Cheers Rob
@ulla Hi Ulrika - I just saw your posted edit on the thread. I think you turned it into a very arty interpretation. Wonderful for your first ever go at this challenge. It's a great challenge - so much fun to see what different people do with the starting image. I'm glad you liked the starter. If you feel like it have another go - multiple entries are always appreciated!! Cheers Rob
