These two photos were taken in the same mall. But then it became hard to know what to do with them - they had assorted ugly bits intruding. So in No 1 the solution trialled was to crop out the unwanted bits - allowing the image to fill the whole frame. The result seemed to be almost just an abstract without much perspective. So No 2 was a trial to see if an internal frame would allow the semi-removal of the unwanted bits and still have a sense of perspective. P.S. not very good images - forget to adjust the ISO !!! Duh!!
I do like the framing of this one and I like the black and white treatment better too. I guess the only thing that's bothering me a little is the slant of the piece in the middle, but I don't think you can straighten that without throwing the rest of the picture off. Anyway- this definitely works with the interesting framing.
@olivetreeann Thanks so much Ann - I really appreciate your feedback. I'm so pleased to hear that you liked the framing - you do frames so well! Cheers Rob
@granagringa LOL Granagringa - you are much too kind! It was a bit of an educational thing to try to minimise the effect of the fuzz.... Probably easier to get the ISO right first up!! Thanks for being so nice! Cheers Rob
@suzanne234 Hi Suzanne - thanks for your positive feedback - I also quite liked the overall effect with the funny frame - sort of a photo in a photo -but hiding the bad parts of the photo!! :)
@caterina Thanks so much Caterina - for both your positive comment and the fav! This method seems to have quite successful from what people have said - now I just have to try to remember to use it again!! :)
