Many of the little towns we pass through have lovely old queenslanders like this. My get-pushed partner for this week gave me the challenge of producing a portrait. This is the closest I'll get to a portrait of Errol - hopefully little Vinny will be more co-operative!
@cruiser Hi Chris - I'm glad you liked it - it was just a really lucky shot! We were driving quite slowly through town and i had my camera out looking for a queenslander - just pure luck! Thanks for your nice comment. Cheers Rob
Hi Marnie and Ulrika - this was one of those "oh - I think that might be good" shots from the car. And Errol didn't even know.... (He's not a keen subject!) It is my dream to own one of those renovated queenslanders (with air con!) on about 2 acres of well kept (by a nice gardener-man!) native garden, with a pool (maintained by a nice pool-man) on the Granite Belt!! Cheers Rob :) @ulla@golftragic
Hi Frida and Lesley - Thanks for your nice comments on the quasi portrait. Errol is not a happy subject - positively rebellious actually - so this was a good luck shot that he didn't even realize had happened! And this portrait taking thing is actually proving very tricky - not having much luck trying for a real one! Thanks again. Cheers Rob
