They must all run and hide when we appear - we've never seen this activity in our old orchard....
Two types of deer and assorted pigs.
See the size of the boar in the background... we have a video as well - showing him charging the deer - they scattered away in all directions.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - there are feral - there are so many feral animals in Australia - it's very depressing. We don't mind the deer so much - they don't seem to do much damage or impact the native animals too much but the pigs, foxes and cats are so very, very bad. Dreadful predators all of them.
@jgpittenger Same here Jane. And I don't know if it would be better or worse having Zoe with me. Up here people hunt the pigs with dogs and apparently big, old boars can become very aggressive towards dogs. We're going to try to trap him.....
@rickster549 Hi Rick - it's a new camera- a Xmas present and it's a beauty. The pictures are much clearer than the old one and it does 3 stills followed by a 5 sec video. Magic for checking on what's happening in the paddocks. :)
@koalagardens And a lot more than we expected too! The 2 species of deer where a surprise, as was seeing them quite happy in one group. We knew there were pigs but we'd never seen the big boar before!
@ludwigsdiana Hi Daina. This is a new spy camera - a Xmas present. It takes much better photos than the old one - with virtually no blank shots taken just because a grass moved in the wind. Three stills and then a 5sec video - which was where we saw the boar charge the deer. Quite terrifying. :)
@helstor365 Hi Helge. This was a Xmas present and it is just great. Much better than the old one we had. Takes clear photos - 3 stills and then a 5 sec video, no accidental images just because a piece of grass moved in the wind, and a really wide depth of field. The night shots are good too. :)
@dkbarnett I can really recommend this spy camera - it works so well with clear images and a deep range. It takes short videos too. It's always interesting to see what's in the paddocks when you're not there! :)
