The shearer's quarters.
Blackall has a wool scour associated with its shearing shed. It was a steam-driven way of cleaning the wool before baling it. It's no longer in use but the whole operation is well preserved.
@fbailey HI FB - when Zoe died last year I stopped using both cameras - she had always been beside me and it was just too hard without her. Heading off on our big trip was incentive to get them both out again, and being in different places means I don't notice her missing as much.
LOL - the little camera's so easy. But, I had to learn how to use the IR one again!! I am enjoying playing with it though.. I can't thank you enough for introducing me to it! Cheers Rob
@robz Oh Rob, I looked you up when I started taking pics again on a semi regular basis. I read about Zoe and I know something of how you felt/are feeling. Nothing I can say that will make it any better. Such a shame their lives are so much shorter than ours. They try to teach us so much, I wish I'd listened more.
So pleased you're back and using the iR camera!
@fbailey Thanks for your lovely thoughts FB. I knew you would understand. She leaves us with so many wonderful family memories - we are very lucky to have had her for 13 years.
Maybe, one day, we'll come across another one that we can welcome into our lives. Until then our trip is giving us a new lease of life..... Many thanks Rob
