Sandstone carving 1

"The Black Hand" is the name of a very old opal dig - but it hasn't produced many opals recently - so it is now quite a famous tourist attraction due to the 600 odd carvings that have been produced by carving into the walls of the tunnels. One man has done this over the last 20 years.

@granagringa Thanks Granagringa - he was a bit tricky to fit in - carved right back into a ledge. So well done though.

@casablanca Ditto here - some of the coloured ones were good too - but I felt that the bright colours spoiled them a bit. :)

@robz @jgpittenger I'll second that motion Jane, they're excellent reading.

@robz It's a ripper.

@jgpittenger @golftragic Two recommendations plus a mention from Jackie - sounds like they need to be read. And even though Vinny (our one and only gorgeous Grandson) is only 5 months old he loves it when you read to him. I guess eventually they would be something he would like too. Thanks for the tip! Cheers Rob
