The white dust is incredible. And in summer the dust and heat together must be a nightmare. Temperatures reach 52degC in summer.

Nightmare and horror yes.. how many degrees is it in wintertime over there?

Gosh, the miners must be very hardy to tolerate those conditions. I'd melt.

@madeinnl Thanks KO. It's winter out here now. About 1 - 2 deg C at night, but beautiful through the day - about 15 deg C. Pretty pleasant really. :)

@golftragic Yeh - I think they spend a lot of time underground in Summer. They can't live there though because it's too damp - things rot.
