Adelaide is surrounded by wine districts - they make many of the finest Australian wines. The Barossa Valley is one of the oldest of these regions and was originally settled by European wine-making families. Some of their beautiful buildings are still in use for their original purposes. Chateau Tanunda is one of them - in the very early days they had the slogan above - used to advertise their brandy. Nowdays they concentrate on making superb wines which are sold mainly through their lovely cellar door.
@rosie00 Thanks for your comment Lesley - it is such a wonderful place that even a collage only shows about a third of it - that building you like is twice as long as it appears here. :)
@etienne Thanks for your comment Etienne - I actually learned a lot from it. Normally I just do collages by choosing what seems to be suitable images ( The bottom one here probably doesn't really match!! LOL ) and then it's just a gut reaction to what works and what doesn't when organizing them. Your comment has made me realize that the normal rules of composition should actually be applied to the overall image!! It seems obvious now that you have said it. Thanks so much for your thoughtful response. Cheers Rob
@gilbertwood Hi Denise - if you get up that way I would highly recommend a visit - it's fabulous and the wines are very good. They don't sell much other than through their cellar door - I got the impression that they supplied some wines to Dan Murphy's - but not their better ones. :)
