After dining at our Evian Hotel we went out for a walk along the streets of Evian. The pedestrian street next to our hotel was full of restaurants with tables and chairs on the walkway. That made a lovely sight which I didn’t capture. We also passed the Evian Mineral Water Company’s building and then headed for the lakeside promenade when the sun had set. Along the way I saw this beautiful building across the road behind the trees and took a shot of it. Later I learnt it was the Hotel de Ville which is not actually a hotel but the City Hall. There were so many people around it being the French National Day. Kiosks selling anything were well equipped for the festive day and the crowds.
