On Sunday I was with my brother taking shots of the rough sea when we saw the search and rescue boat of the AFM (Armed Forces of Malta) speeding out of the shelter of Marsamxett with the siren howling full on. I managed a few shots of it on its way out – from the shelter of its berthing place out to the open sea with the sea getting rougher and rougher as it approached the place I was and the open sea. I felt sorry for those men on the boat even though it is part of their duty.
In the evening I waited for the local news to see if there were any casualities at sea but none were reported.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture. For those who told me to enter my photo for the weekly theme, I would have loved to but the shot was taken on Sunday while the theme entries have to be taken not earlier than Monday.
