Title inspired from the saying ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’.
It was very hot in Siena and the pigeons were swooping down on the Fontana Gaia to drink out of the spouts in the mouth of a number of wolves that decorated this lovely fountain.
The wolf is the symbol of Siena.

What a picture! While many loathe the lowly pigeon, I find them a beautiful, interesting bird. Their iridescent colors are often so dazzling in the sun's light. I like your selective coloring choice for this picture. Fav for the great timing of the shot.
