TIME FOR SOME CYCLING

Last Saturday was the first stage of this year’s Tour de France.
For at least half a century I have been following this three-week race together with another three-week race: the Giro d’Italia. Another three-week race which I enjoy but which I don’t follow regularly is the Vuelta d’Espagna. The race schedules follow each other in the same order.
This year the first stage of the Tour was held in Normandy in the north of France. Here I am watching it on RAI, the Italian national television station.
