Michaela and Max going into Mdina to look for Pokemon.
The story: I took this shot late in September before the children started school. Michaela, my son’s daughter, and Max, my daughter’s son were staying with us while their parents where at work. It is normally up to me to organise a morning out for them and I really enjoy it seeing them having fun and conspiring together. So I asked Michaela where she wished to go and gave her some choices and she said “Mdina because there I can catch some pokemons”. So to Mdina we went and naturally the camera came along too. I wanted to take a shot of the main gate from this angle. Too many people going in and out so we had to wait for the way to clear. But then I gave up when I saw Michaela and Max beginning to walk forward and I took this shot before chasing after them.
Michaela said she caught 25 Pokemons while we were at Mdina. So if you come to Malta looking for Pokemon, that is the place to go searching.
I have added the black ribbon on the right of the picture as a respect for five Frenchmen who lost their lives when a small airplane they were in plummeted to the ground and exploded just after take off from Luqa Airport killing everybody on board.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's. on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
So sorry to learn of that dreadful crash and loss of life. Today there is news of more deaths at a theme park, this time in Australia. It is a sad world at times. Congratulations of successfully carrying out grandparent duties. I have no idea what a pokemon is.
Great view and capture of this beautiful buiding.
Some places in our country has forbidden to play it on some places.
A lot/some of people think of our country side: Boring.
Cute story. There were a lot of people playing it here over the summer as well, but I think it is not so much the rage anymore. That's the nature of a fad I suppose. But I like this shot and the architecture of course is always impressive.
