On the left of this picture is the beautiful High Altar of this wonderful cathedral. On the right is the altar piece above the altar.
The Cathedral is dedicated to the Incarnation. It is built over the Nasrid Great Mosque in the center of the city. Its construction began in the early 16th century, shortly after the conquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs. Over time, the bishopric continued to commission new architectural projects of importance.
