This is a windmill I captured through the window of our coach while on the way the Peniche. I’m not sure about this, but the sails are just like this and not dressed in canvas (or other materials) when it is working. I thought it looked better in b&w.
Now I’m back from Seville (Spain) with close to a 1000 shots to process when I am still half-way through with those of our Portugal holiday. And we should be going to Gozo for the weekend to watch the Opera “Norma”.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
What a fabulous windmill. It looks as though the sails are wrapped around the masts and made of canvas, but I could be wrong. I think they are unwrapped when the wind blows.
