READY FOR THE OPERA

Short break from my series from our Portugal Easter holiday.

Last weekend we went to Gozo particularly to go to watch the opera "Norma". Here we are all ready to leave my sister's apartment. Left are my sister and her husband, middle are my eldest brother and his wife and right is yours truly and wife.
"Norma" is the work of Vincenzo Bellini - it was first produced at La Scala in Milan on 26 December 1831.

Fabulous, you all look very smart indeed! I love opera. When we were courting we drove down to Verona to the amphitheatre for Aida and La Boheme. Puccini is one of my favourites! I don't know Norma by Bellini, I shall have to have a listen now! Hope you enjoyed the performance.
