Last Saturday we returned home at around 11.00p.m from our usual meet-up with friends and I said to Christine “I’m going down to the village centre to take some shots”. She preferred not to come so I went on my own, parked the car in front of a garage and went to take a shot of the local parish church. Milling around the church there were gathered people waiting for the ground fireworks display to begin.
This is a shot I took of the scene. The area immediately around the fireworks was sealed off by the police to avoid any unnecessary mishap.
Many thanks for looking and for your comments and Fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
Wonderful night shot!! Question for you?? What's Malta like in January?? My hubby turns 50 on Jan. 3rd and I want to take him somewhere unique. I thought of Malta. The research I've done makes it sound doable. We're not big heat people and don't want to sit on the beach for hours. Just want to explore and see the sights. Do you think we're silly to come in winter?
(The Ceropegia woodii is a very common and well know plant in our country.)
