VENT' ALTAR by sangwann

VENT' ALTAR

Sicily holiday - day 3 (24rd August).

Another shot from the small cathedral museum of Ortigia. Jean-Pierre takes a photo of this altar piece used as a decorative cover to the front of the main altar on feast days. It looked very big to me.

Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's Much appreciated.
Great shot of this beautiful Altar with it's intricate designs and golden overlay.

So ornate- but then feast days should be a little flashy since one is celebrating.
