We got to Mġiebaħ beach at last – a walk of around 2 hours. Got down to the beach. Sat down for a few minutes to allow Max to have a croissant and an orange juice which Christine had packed for us. Max tried to find those flat pebbles to throw and see them skim on the water. I showed him how but he couldn’t do it. And then straight off on the same road back to the car. There was no one on the beach (not even on the way there) except for a couple with their dog.
Yesterday I said it was most probable that I wouldn’t go there again in my lifetime. Well unless you have a motorcycle the only way to the beach for most of the way is on foot.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's. I will show them to Max later today. He starts Summer school today so he'll see them after that.
What a beautiful view! I'm sorry it takes so long to get there by foot because it seems to me to be worth it, but I certainly understand why you wouldn't return. Beautiful shot though!
It is a beautiful view and beautifully shot. For me, it would be too much walking, wouldn't make it at my age. But turn back 30 years or so and it would not be a problem.
A 2 hour hike is a long time for you and Max as beautiful as the place is. I could walk for 2 hours but not up hill. thank you for showing us this amazing view.
