FAST FOOD OUTLET by sangwann

FAST FOOD OUTLET

Naples – Day 3. The ruins at Herculaneum are much smaller than those of Pompei but they are better preserved. This is what remains of what is considered as a fast food outlet of Roman times. Christine (right) and Mary Grace (left) seem to be considering what to buy. For fun I added a fast food menu which I downloaded from the internet.
Thank you very much for your visits, comments and fav's.

So interesting. I wonder what the Romans would think of our modern fast food diet.

Hmm, it looks reminiscent of the old long drop rather than fast food!

I remember going there many years ago, and marvelling at the details that have survived. It was almost deserted and there was a real atmosphere, you could imagine the carts trundling down the stone streets and the people going about their daily lives. Thank you for bringing back those memories!
And that's a very amusing edit by the way!!

A nicely edited shot! I love the way the Romans built things to last.

I haven't been here but I have been to Pompei, It was much too large a sight to see even a full day. Love your menu touch.
