TYPICALLY MEDITERRANEAN

From day 6 – 26/07/2024 - of our family break in Sicily .
I couldn’t resist posting this shot with all the features of agricultural land surrounding the Mediterranean Sea – dry soil, hay rolls and especially prickly pears. Took the shot on my round along the tourist complex while waiting for the others to get ready.

Looks like a lovely scene but prickly pear is regarded as an aggressive weed in Australia because it can take over agricultural and pastoral land
