We seem to have had this picture, or a variation of it, for weeks and weeks.
I remember the summer of 1976 when I was a student working in The West Highland Woollen Mill shop in Ullapool, and met Allan on a bus when travelling home for the weekend. We had met before!! wasn't just a random traveller 😂
He was on a camping tour with a couple of friends.
Then when expecting Jonathan in 1986 we had a hot few weeks..... and 1991 when Susannah was born.....it had been SO hot with a very large bump.
But recent summers have been rather mixed and disappointing and in need of sunny October hols to compensate.
Three good things
1. Water and ice and cool corners
2. Little activities in shady spaces outside
3. Light clothes not worn often.....love it
It's amazing weather isn't it, I love it but of course we are at home & not having to work much. No haytiming or siloing & milking etc so we can pace ourselves. Interesting hearing how you met Allan!
