Family treasure

This is Grannie B's family- she's the baby on Granny Campbell's knee. Her twin brothers, Angus and Donald, sister Peggy standing, and Mary on Seanair's knee. Sister Lena was born a couple of years later.
Such a lovely photo while they lived in Glasgow. Not long after this Granny took the children 'home to Skye' to look after her mother. Seanair stayed in Glasgow working on boats on the River Clyde and only got home for a few short weeks in summer.
The books that could be written!
Three good things
1. A lovely day....took bus to city centre
2. Lovely lunch in Princes Square and a beautiful brooch to wear on Friday.
3. Awesome documentary about the Viking lands their animals, birds and sea creatures....fascinating.
Typical of these old photos - everyone has to remain very still while the man behind the camera under his cloth takes the photo!

Ensure that future generations know who everyone is. We have photographs where some people cannot be identified. A lovely keepsake.

A beautiful image to be treasured. There are a lot of photos at what was my mums bungalow waiting to be collected and scanned. I'm looking forward to some interesting discoveries.
