tree felling at the park

While I've been busy in the garden there has been a frequent buzz /hum/ screech of power saws in action across at the park.
Lots of the trees that line Park Lane are being removed as some of them are apparently in a dangerous condition! It's certainly going to make a difference for the folk who live on the opposite side of the street as they will see everything going on in the park..........but better that their houses are not damaged by falling trees!

Sad to see such well developed trees being cut, but perhaps it might reveal some interesting views.

Well at least their not cutting them down to build more houses. I hate to see groups of trees cut down to make way for buildings, though I know it's sometimes necessary.

I hate to see trees being cut down- even when they need it, or the wood comes to our house to heat us.!
