Had a lovely walk today at the Ythan Estuary and Forvie Sands, near Newburgh and it did me so much good!
We got the best of the day and were almost back to the car when the rain came on!
The light is so amazing in the photos Allan took of me and the textures of the sand were awesome! The friendly seal was right at the water edge as we were coming back and the lovely sheltered area with information wasn't there the last time we walked there.
You can just see the top of my hat in the shadow at the bottom of the panorama photo and Allan is at the end of the footprint trail near the top but probably too small to see!!
Three good things
1. long walks in fresh air and breeze to blow away cobwebs
2. cosy clothes to keep us warm and dry
3. smells of cooking from the kitchen.....Allan is doing roast pork for dinner!
Just noticed the date....David our oldest was due on 8.3.83......but didn't arrive till 21st!! I always remember it though!!

Thanks for your comments. We are so lucky to have great walking places close by and yes Ana it was hard work in places and so unpredictable where the sinking in bits were!
