It's David's 32nd birthday today - how can years pass so quickly? And I can't be old enough to have a son that old can I???? Hee hee!!
But he is happy with his life and family and work and has a good way of being with people so that is great to observe. And he's happy to keep in touch and let us know how things are with them all.
Now counting down to our visit to see them soon.

3. David is heading for Scotland this birthday with some colleagues and a group of schoolchildren. 5 years ago he left on his birthday for Kuala Lumpur. What a lot of changes in a short time!
Please send David our good wishes for his birthday. 32 years I cannot believe it. You have solved a mystery for me as when I was speaking to Brian during the week he changed our plans for next weekend and he is now coming home for Easter. He mentioned meeting up with David and I somehow did not ask but when I was off the phone I was wracking my brains to think if it could be another David but now it all falls into place as he mentioned a Tour of Scotland. All good because we will see Brian at Easter and my trip to Edinburgh will still be something to look forward to later. As you say so many changes in 5 years.

Had a good chat with David this afternoon and though he was tired after the travel - with early start and the time difference etc - he had enjoyed the day in Glasgow with the group. Tomorrow they are off to an activity centre where he was with a school group when doing his teaching placement and then to Edinburgh on Friday for a final few days before going back to Kiev. Pack a lot in!!!
