It was so lovely just sitting on our garden seat after lunch! It felt brighter than this photo but it's a nice record of the day. Later we went to the recycling centre with bags of overgrown grasses and debris from the bridge work, and I went looking for low cost plants in nearby store.......and got 5 large pots of Lavender for £10 😁. They needed a good drink but I'm sure they will recover and thrive.
And I finished painting the other side of the fence on the right so very pleased.
Heard from David that their luggage had been delivered.
Three good things
1. Teamwork getting the house hoovered and beds made after the washing yesterday.
2. Delicious ice cream from local berry growing company who use fellow farmer's gorgeous ice cream and blend it using whichever fruit you choose.
3. Lovely salmon with salad and new potatoes for tea.......and strawberries!

Pat the garden is really far too big to manage it all in detail but I focus on the parts close to the patio doors in our family room / kitchen and just enjoy the possible!!
Your garden is looking great and we were also at the recycling and those stores on Saturday. I bought some bargain plants earlier in the week from there and they are already looking better
