It's so distinctive as we drive west heading towards the A96 .....and on to Inverness.
Good to see Dad more like himself and staff seen optimistic about him getting home in a few days. When someone feels hospital is like a prison you know they need home soon!!!! Though we have no experience of prison to compare.
Three good things
1. Caring hospital staff
2. Highland connections. ....the man in the bed opposite Dad has the same surname, his first name is the same as my brother + his wife (who died a few months ago ) was a cousin of Allan's mum, from Skye. This afternoon his daughter was visiting -Allan's 2nd cousin -and they hadn't seen each other for 30 + years!!!
3. Glorious drive home from visiting.
