This is a very special day in my life. Quite apart from the graduation ceremony it was the first time Allan met my parents! It was really hot and seemed to be over in no time. But I was really happy and had a teaching post to go to a few weeks later. At that time there were lots of others without one.
My friend Dorothy now lives in Australia and we are still in touch, and some of the others I have come across over the years. It was fun digging out the lists and photos and trying to match them up. The girls' names change of course if they marry so not easy to find out what has happened to them in the years between.
BUT HOW CAN ALL THAT TIME HAVE PASSED???
Three good things
1. Very blessed that I can share this collage with those who were with me that day.
2. Still love being a teacher and have the happiest of memories of my undergraduate years.
3. Really privileged to have studied in years when student loans were not around!!

Issi, I grew up in Ross-shire so left home when I was 17 to go to university. That feels like a long time ago even though I often spend weekends with my parents who are 90 and still live in the house I grew up in. If you're in Banchory area any time it would be lovely to get together. 25 miles away. ..not far!
