Cruise Liner in port

At Invergordon, on my train journey north yesterday, we were held up for 15 minutes waiting for the southbound train which was delayed. This was the view from my seat.......
The Cromarty Firth is a very deep inlet and large ships can come and berth easily. Thousands of visitors come to visit every year and travel by coach etc to visit distilleries, castles and other significant features of the wider area. I know two of the tour guides who have some interesting tales to tell!
Three good things
1. Coffee with Mum's friend (93) who is amazing and skips out to the car like a young thing when I go to pick her up!
2. Gardening time....Most of the vegetables I planted are doing well. ....I think pigeons etc have got the better of the broccoli!
3. Dad in fine form today....was digging in the garden too.
4......have to add Mum is loving the impact of hearing aids she got yesterday. 😁
Interesting view- seems amazing the water is deep enough to accommodate such a big ship!
