Town walk with one of my link classes was a good morning activity and I learned some new information even though we moved here in 1984!! Always new stories to be told by local people who are happy to share with the children.
This was one of two mice 'installed' in the town square several years ago. It recalls an old story about a mouse who roused a watchman at the distillery and avoided a seriously damaging fire!
Three good things
1. The children were listening and thoughtful as we walked.
2. It didn't rain all the way....just a shower.
3. Chat with mum on my way home at lunchtime- love mobìle phone technology 😊
