After a very early start (3am) we were in the Black Desert.. it had been an active volcanic area in previous eras hence the black lava rock with fascinating features.
Three good things
1. Fantastic trip leaders, driving, cooking traditional food.. simply delicious.. .and providing so much that made the trip unforgettable.
2. Beautiful Bedouin tents. We used one as the dining tent and afterwards it was our family sleeping tent. Everything was transported on top of the Toyota Land Cruisers....mattresses, blankets, rugs, firewood..etc etc!
3. Great sleep after a long day.
