I'm still trying to figure out intentional low light, so when Matthew woke up in a happy mood from his nap I took advantage of the window light and played around a bit. I'm really pleased with the focus on this one - I feel like that's the trickiest part of low light photography.
Very pretty shot! The brown and the blue are such a winning combination here, and it's great that he happened to wear blue pjs here, and his hair goes so well with the brown of the bed - so nothing distracts from those big eyes with great catch-lights. Great composition too, turned out very nicely.
