Our street is being torn up and re-done, and in the process we're getting a shiny new sidewalk that will, with just one crossing, lead all the way to the school. This is exciting for all sorts of reasons - not the least of which is that Matthew gets to watch the big trucks all day long!
I've been too nervous to take pictures while they're actually working (will the workers get upset with me?) but since they conveniently left this one right in front of my house when they went on a lunch break, I figured it was fair game. :)
It seems everywhere we try to drive these days we come across streets that are being torn up, resurfaced, worked on in some way. Looks like you're getting the same treatment. Interesting shot of your street scene.
