The first grade classes hatched chicks, and the students get to host chick sleepovers for the next few days until the chicks are big enough to have to go back to the farm.
We're hosting this yellow chick (Sunny) and two black chicks (Logie and Emily) - who are equally cute but incredibly difficult to photograph! These little chicks just hatched on Wednesday.
This shot was totally my older daughter's idea. We were sitting outside holding them but not putting them on the ground and she had the idea of putting it on her boot for the color contrast.

@dianachaplin Thanks! Yes, 365 has become a bit of a family endeavor over here - if I'm stuck for a photo idea, or just need help deciding which photo to pick, my girls are always willing to help!
