Matthew kept "playing" a small rectangular block like a harmonica. I have no idea where he got this idea from, because the harmonica I dug out has been hidden away since long before he was born - two girls fighting over one harmonica for more days than I could handle lead to it being in semi-permanant time out.
I'm pretty sure in a former life this kid was a blues man. In fact, today he told his daddy (who had asked him if he wanted piano lessons when he's older) that he already knows how to play piano.
Also, he insisted on helping the Halloween skeleton play the harmonica, and then sat the thing down in his lap and serenaded it with an original harmonica composition. I worry a little, sometimes...
